Season's Greetings to you! I'm IndySanta, and I have the privilege of spreading Christmas cheer to tens of thousands of people annually. The work for me is personal and the love, genuine. IndySanta-ing came to me naturally, having been inspired by Santa visiting my grandmother's home year-after-year when I was a child and later as a professional actor getting to play the Big Man on stage for more than a decade in Christmas holiday shows. I have many fond memories of Christmas as a child. For my family, the Christmas season was an important occasion to bring people together and celebrate with loved ones --- family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, etc. Everyone was "family" in my grandmother's home. She loved preparing for and hosting parties, and my cousin Stacy continues the tradition today. As a kid, I remember the fanciful candy table with homemade candies, intermingled with specialty confections from the local candy shop, and, of course, the higglety pigglety finger foods adorning buffet tables. The house was filled with laughter, joyful tears and song. Santa also made his annual party visits to dazzle us kids with Christmas magic. As IndySanta, I want to add that magic to your special gathering. ~ . ~ . ~ . ~ . ~ . ~ . ~ . ~ . ~ . ~ . ~ . ~ Sometime in the early 2000s IndySanta started his partnership with Downtown Indy Inc.'s Circle Of Lights Celebration. It's a tradition he cherishes as much as Indy does. Also, around that time he began his relationship with Events To Remember at The Mansion At Oak Hill creating their magical Santa events for the better part of 15 years. In the past, you might have found IndySanta at Dollywood’s Christmas In The Smokies, for a decade in the ’90s in A Beef&Boards Christmas, or writing/directing Christmas Theatrical Productions Across the country. You might also recognize his voice since he is a professional voice-over artist and classically trained singer. Video of 'Twas The Night Before.... (click the image)
